Body of farmer found in Vatia waters in Tavua classified as drowning

The 35-year-old farmer whose body was discovered in Vatia waters in Tavua earlier this month had drowned.

Police say there was no foul play.

The discovery was made by a group of divers.

The man was from Matacawa in Tavua and was last seen leaving his home to fish in nearby waters.
