Police are currently investigating a case of interest following the discovery of the body of a newborn baby in Bulileka, Labasa.
Police say a woman is currently admitted at the Labasa Hospital.
The matter was reported yesterday by a 36-year-old man after he found the body in his home.
Police say the alleged suspect is the man’s wife.
Investigators have yet to interview the woman and will only do so once medical clearance is given.
