The body of the 15-year-old student who went missing while swimming has been recovered.

Police had earlier said the student went missing on Saturday near Solkope Island, Kalvaka, Rotuma.

Police say the student with other friends reportedly swam across to Solkope Island, but did not make it back due to the strong currents.
