Black Ferns 7s reigns at the LA 7s after a 29-14 win over Australia in the cup final

The Black Ferns 7s have been crowned the HSBC Los Angeles Women’s 7s champions after defeating neighbours Australia 29-14 in the Cup final today.

NZ scored 5 tries including a hattrick to Michaela Blyde and Australia scored two converted tries.

The match went into the break with the Ferns holding a 12-7 lead.

Meanwhile, Canada won bronze in the Women’s category after defeating the USA 21-7 in the 3rd place playoff.

Great Britain will play France in the Men’s Cup final at 2.23pm today.
