Ben Ryan praises players for Singapore 7s win

Former Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Coach, Ben Ryan who led Fiji to its first Olympic gold medal at the 2016 Rio Games, has praised the team for the positive results in the Singapore 7s final, where they beat Kenya 21-12.

Taking to his facebook page, Ryan congratulated the players and described the win as a "great result in Singapore."

The Serua man who has been given a chiefly title in Fiji 'ita' says it is not a bad start for Coach Osea Kolinisau and he is optimistic that Fiji can end the tournament on a high note by winning the last tournament.

The LA 7s kicks off on the 3rd and 4th of next month.

Meanwhile, Fiji Men’s side is in pool B with Spain, Australia and New Zealand.

HSBC SVNS league winners Argentina are in Pool A alongside South Africa, Olympic champions France and Great Britain.
