Former Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Ben Ryan has spoken highly of current coach Osea Kolinisau despite the team’s 9th place finish in the HSBC Singapore 7s tournament over the weekend.

Ryan took to social media with praises for Kolinisau this morning saying, it has been a baptism of fire for Kolinisau but he is one of life’s winners and he is going to do incredible things for Fiji.

He says he watched the Fiji 7s team play in the Singapore 7s from London and he saw a tonne of good things.

He adds he cannot wait to come to Fiji next month.

Ryan was Kolinisau’s coach back in 2013 to 2016 and also coached the Fiji Men’s 7s side to their first-ever gold medal in the 2016 Rio Olympics which was captained by Kolinisau as well.
