Sailasa Baledrokadroka of All Saints Secondary School

Sailasa Raralevu Baledrokadroka of All Saints Secondary School in Labasa has won gold in the junior boy's division on the shot put.

Speaking to fijivillage Sports, Baledrokadroka says he wanted to make a name for himself by winning gold this year in cokes, since last year he won silver in the same event for the sub-junior category with the throw of 13.90 metres.

He credits his parents for their unwavering support, which has contributed to his dominance in the event.

Sitiveni Ranamu of Marist Brothers High School secured silver, while David Terotume of Gospel High School claimed the bronze.
