Bala distributing masks to essential businesses around Suva

Minister for Employment, Youth and Sports Parveen Bala distributing masks

3,000 masks are being distributed by the Minister for Employment, Youth and Sports Parveen Bala to the staff of essential businesses around Suva today.

He is visiting supermarkets and other retailers.

The masks have been donated by the Chinese government.

Bala says he is happy that a lot more people are wearing masks today.

He is urging people to wear a mask and follow the guidelines put in place by the Health Ministry.
