Youths in Labasa have been given a boost after receiving farming equipment to start farming and earn a livelihood.
While handing over the equipment to the 4 youth groups, Minister for Youth and Sport, Parveen Bala says this program does not end like this and they will be given continuous support, provided they play their role and are focused in what they are doing.
Bala has also acknowledged the landowners who have provided their land to the youths to farm on.
The youths have been provided green house material, spades, spray tanks, wheel barrows and crop seedlings and other equipment.
