Ten individuals or groups will be taking part in the United Blind Persons of Fiji Baking Competition that will begin from next Tuesday to the 7th of November to assist the organization.

United Blind Persons of Fiji, Chairperson of the National Disability Awards, Rajnel Prasad says this is to allow people to earn some income for themselves and the organisations by baking and selling.

He says they will provide each participants with the baking ingredients and they will have to raise a target of $1,000.

He adds those that raise more than $1,000 in three months will receive $500 and the rest of the money will go to the United Blind Persons of Fiji.

Prasad says registration is free and it is not limited to unemployed people, as those who are employed can register for this competition too.
