Bail hearing set for men facing murder charge

The three men appeared in court today.

The bail hearing of Josateki Rokodakunivosa and Isikeli Lagibalavu who allegedly murdered a bus driver in Nausori on the 3rd of last month will be held on the 20th of this month.

Mikaele Lawaniyale, Rokodakunivosa and Lagibalavu appeared before High Court Judge Justice Aruna Aluthge today.

Lawaniyale's lawyer, Josaia Niudamu told the court that he has filed his bail application.

State prosecution told the court that they have received the post mortem report of the bus driver and they seek time to finalise the information.

The trio have been remanded in custody and the matter will be called on the 20th of this month for mention.
