The Bank South Pacific today donated $15,000 to WOWS Kids Fiji and $10,000 to the Fiji Cancer Society to assist with the treatment of children living with cancer.

The donation was given to the two organisation as they were celebrating their Christmas Party at the Api Tongan Church in Laucala Bay.

BSP General Manager Rajeshwar Singh says he is grateful for the support rendered to these children, the dedication and the emotional support given to them and their families is nothing short of extraordinary.

He also wished the kids and their families a prosperous Christmas that will be filled with love and joy.

Before making his speech, a minute of silence was observed for all the kids who have passed away since the inception of the foundation.

Vice Chair for WOW Kids Vilash Chand says they are humbled by the support given by BSP to look after the needs of these children and their families.

Chand says BSP has been the beacon of hope and love for these children for many years. He says the money collected will assist the kids with their treatment and meet the much-needed financial pledge.

The Chief Executive Officer for Fiji Cancer Society, Berlinda Chan, says these kids are their inspiration, their motivator to do what they do.

She acknowledged them for allowing the Fiji Cancer Society to be part of their journey.

Chan says it is her vision and hope that all kids have proper access to all care and treatment in Fiji.
