Attorney General, Siromi Turaga and the staff of the AG’s Office traditionally welcomed the newly appointed Solicitor General, Ropate Green Lomavatu today.

While welcoming the Solicitor General, Turaga says he was one of the applicants for the position and was the only one who was shortlisted.

Turaga adds Lomavatu actions more than he speaks.

Lomavatu says he is honoured to be appointed as the new Solicitor General and felt at home since he had previously worked at the office on a different designation.

He says he recognised many familiar faces during the welcome ceremony.
