Asco Motors has given $10,000 to adopt a room in the Ronald McDonald House in Labasa where you can stay for free if your child is admitted at the Labasa Hospital.

The $750,000 facility which will house 11 families is expected to be ready by this September.

It will come fully furnished and will be equipped with a kitchen, dining area, lounge area, play area, toilet and bathroom facilities.

Asco Motors CEO Craig Sims says they have donated about $150,000 to the organization in the last 2 years.

Ronald McDonald House Director Marc McElrath says they have a family room at the CWM Hospital and the objective is to have a similar set up in Suva where they can provide accommodation for more families.

McElrath says the idea behind this initiative is to keep families together in difficult times.
