The Asco Foundation has generously donated essential technological equipment, including laptops, printers, WIFI modems, projectors, and sound systems, to the Fiji Red Cross Society as the two organisations marked a momentous occasion in their shared mission to uplift Fijian communities.

The technology equipment donated by the Asco Foundation will equip all the 16 Fiji Red Cross Society branches in Fiji.

This strategic partnership, in alignment with the Red Cross’ goal of establishing a well-structured, skilled, and sustainable the organisation underscores their commitment to upgrading and engaging with digital technology stakeholders.

In a spirit of gratitude, collaboration, and dedication, the Asco Foundation's support will enable FRCS to address critical technological equipment deficiencies, paving the way for enhanced disaster response, community engagement, and environmental initiatives across Fiji.

Director General of the Fiji Red Cross Society Ragigia Dawai says they are immensely grateful for the Asco Foundations’ generosity that has enabled them to leap forward in their mission to build safe, healthy and resilient communities.

She adds the strategic partnership not only strengthens their disaster response capabilities but also enhances their ability to engage with communities meaningfully, creating a lasting positive impact.

Ragigia says the donation of laptops, printers, and WIFI modems will transform administrative tasks, enabling seamless data management, communication, and reporting.

She says these essential tools are vital for effective disaster response and community engagement efforts, allowing them to optimise their operations.
