The Army Women 7s team came from behind to beat Seahawks 17-10 and defend their title at the 47th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s this evening.

Seahawks scored two quick tries in the first spell to take an early 10-0 lead before Army replied with two late tries to lock the score at 10-all heading into half-time.

Army started the second spell with a converted try to take a 17-10 lead.

The Seahawks failed to capitalize on a player advantage late in the second spell as Army were reduced to 6 players after a yellow card was shown to one of their players for foul play.

Army stood tall in defense in the last few seconds of the match forcing Seahawks to knock the ball on at full time.

Meanwhile, Dominion Brothers retained the Under 21 title defeating Ravuka Sharks 10-5.
