Current HSBC SVNS Series Men’s table leaders Argentina will look to create another piece of history by defending their Series title in the remaining two tournaments for the 2024/2025 season.

The Los Pumas Sevens took out the league title last year, and they’ll be looking to repeat those heroics over the coming weeks in the Asian leg of the series.

Argentina, who is pooled alongside the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side, the USA and Ireland, started the 2024/25 season with a third-place finish in Dubai before missing out on a spot on the figurative podium in Cape Town, but after taking out consecutive Cup titles in Perth and Vancouver, they’re in the box seat on the overall standings.

They now currently sit first on the standings with two 68 points ahead of Spain who is second with 64 points and Fiji who is in third place with 62 points.

Argentina will take on Ireland at 5.11pm Friday in their first pool match before playing the USA at 8.21pm Friday, then they will take on Fiji at 4.11pm Saturday in their last pool match.

The cup quarter finals will kick off at 9.51pm Saturday, the cup semi finals will start at 7pm Sunday and the cup final will kick off at 11.46pm Sunday.
