All Blacks star Ardie Savea, currently in the form of his life, and might feature against the British and Irish Lions during their upcoming tour of Australia this year.
Savea, the captain of Moana Pasifika and recently crowned Super Rugby Pacific Player of the Year, is on Wallabies great Toutai Kefu’s wish list.
Kefu has been appointed as the head coach of the First Nations and Pasifika XV and has revealed on players’ he is keen on.
The All Blacks are scheduled to play a three-test series against France in July, with the final match set for 19 July in Hamilton.
This makes Savea’s availability for the Melbourne fixture on 22 July uncertain.
Lkefu says he would love to have a crack at him.
Kefu is yet to finalise his coaching team, though Moana Pasifika coach and All Blacks great Tana Umaga’s name has been mentioned.
The highly anticipated match between the First Nations and Pasifika XV and the British and Irish Lions will take place on the 22nd of July.
