Apikemeli Tola has been appointed as Chairman of iTaukei Land and Fisheries Commission by the Ministry of iTaukei Affairs, Culture, Heritage and Arts.
The Ministry says Tola replaces Ratu Vananalagi Vesikula for the position and wishes to serve the people of the nation accordingly.
They say as a graduate of USP, Tola brings with him a wealth of experience for the position assigned.
He has served as a high school teacher at the Centre for Appropriate Technology and Development, the iTaukei Land Trust Board and more recently as the Principal Administrative Officer, VKB Operations.
