Another DVD shop raided

Police have raided another DVD outlet in Makoi and the owner of the shop has been taken in for questioning.

Police officers conducting the raids went to the outlet with proof of the copyright holders for certain movies and other programmes.

20 DVD titles have been confiscated.

Earlier this afternoon, police conducted a raid at a DVD outlet in Nakasi.

The owner of the DVD shop has been taken in for questioning with a staff member.

DVD copying machines have also been confiscated from the outlet.

About 20 movie and sports titles have been seized as police have evidence through the rights holders, Damodar Brothers, SPR, Eros Pacific and Fiji TV.
