29-year-old Lice Litia Mudunabole of Naivuruvuru, Verata, Tailevu charged with allegedly obtaining money from the M-PAiSA platform through deception has been granted bail by the Suva Magistrates Court.

It is alleged that on the 9th of January 2024, Mudunabole unlawfully obtained money meant for the Back to School Education Assistance from a member of the public through the M-PAiSA platform.

The magistrate granted bail to Mudunabole on the condition of a $500 non-cash bond, one surety, not to change address, attend court on all dates, and not to interfere with the witnesses or the complainant.

The matter has been adjourned to the 25th of March.
