The Fiji Women’s Crisis Centre Coordinator Shamima Ali has paid tribute to the former Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern.
Ali says Ardern offered an alternative leadership that was humane, caring, embracing all and firm.
She says but in a patriarchal world, it is hard to survive offering all of that adding Ardern despite the backlash has certainly left her mark.
She says a great legacy for women and many girls everywhere., and we must ensure that legacy is revived and carried on continuously.
