Acting DPP Toganivalu appointed as Acting Commissioner of FICAC

Acting Director of Public Prosecutions, Ratu David Toganivalu, has been appointed as the Acting Commissioner of the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC)

The Acting Director of Public Prosecutions, Ratu David Toganivalu, has been appointed as the Acting Commissioner of the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC).

Toganivalu's appointment comes into effect from next Monday until 25th November this year.

Toganivalu also confirms that he received his letter of appointment this morning.

He says he is honoured and takes this role as a challenge.

He adds that he is looking forward to working with the staff of FICAC and seeing how they can improve the investigation and prosecution of corruption-related matters.
