Acting Commissioner of Police Juki Fong Chew has directed a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding a police vehicle accident in Saweni this morning.
Four police officers were travelling in the vehicle heading towards Lautoka, when the driver allegedly lost control causing it to tumble.
Chew says necessary disciplinary action will be taken if the officers were found to be disregarding road laws and abusing their authority whilst in control of a police vehicle.
The four officers are under observation at Lautoka Aspen Hospital.
