ANZ New Zealand’s CEO Antonia Watson will visit Fiji next week as part of a week-long visit to the Pacific.

The CEO oversees the running of ANZ in New Zealand and has responsibility for ANZ in the Pacific.

Watson will arrive in Fiji after spending two days in Apia, Samoa, where she will visit local businesses and meet with Government officials.

Watson says New Zealand shares a close relationship with Fiji, and having responsibility for ANZ’s Pacific business is something she deeply values.

She says ANZ plays a strong part in supporting the Fiji economy and she is looking forward to meeting customers and local businesses, and getting a better understanding of how they can continue to provide the support needed.

ANZ Fiji Country Head Rabih Yazbek says the visit demonstrates the importance of Fiji to ANZ.

Yazbek says the Pacific is a key part of ANZ’s international network and Fiji is one of our core Pacific markets where they have been operating here for 143 years.
