Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum has urged Legal Aid lawyers to read and enhance their level of awareness.
While officiating at the closing of the Legal Aid Commission's 2nd Annual National Staff Conference in Warwick Hotel, Sayed-Khaiyum says legal Aid lawyers and staff should appreciate the role that they play.
Sayed-Khaiyum says it is important that people of Fiji have access to the law.
He adds it is important for them to understand the importance of the law and know the critical role that legal aid plays.
