There has been a lot of talk on social media regarding the photo put up by Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum where he is sharing a laugh with Opposition Whip Lynda Tabuya during the Attorney General’s Conference on Friday.

Sayed-Khaiyum posted the photo with the caption “sharing a much-needed laugh during a break, in between sessions at the Conference.

Tabuya has also posted the photo on her Tiktok account and talked about the conversation between the two during the meetup.

She says Sayed-Khaiyum laughed about them being old lawyers.

Tabuya says she laughed at Sayed-Khaiyum being past 55 and long overdue for retirement come 2022.

She adds despite being fierce opponents, they managed a good belly laugh about how old they were compared to the hundreds of young lawyers around them.

Tabuya also says she is a long way off from retirement but Sayed-Khaiyum is past 55 so he deserves the retirement coming to him in 2022.
