Nakasi High denies Lelean a clean sweep in boys’ 4x100 metres finals

Adi Cakobau School has made another strong statement in day 2 of the Coca Cola Triple N Zone after making a clean sweep in the girls’ division of the 4x100 metres relay this afternoon.

ACS won gold in all the grades while Nakasi High School spoiled the party for Lelean Memorial School in the boys’ division as they took out the senior grade.

Lelean was on its way to also making a clean sweep after winning the sub junior, Junior and intermediate grades, but Nakasi High came through and claimed gold in the senior grade.

In the girls’ sub junior, ACS finished with a time of 55.08 seconds followed by Rewa Secondary School, who finished second, while Bau Central College claimed bronze.

In the boys’ sub junior, Lelean took out gold, Saraswati College finished second, and Sila Central finished 3rd.

In the junior girls, ACS finished first with a time of 52.62, followed by Lelean in second place with Bau Central in third place.

In the junior boys, Lelean claimed gold with a time of 49.06 seconds, Vunimono High School finished in second place while Davuilevu Methodist High School settled for third place.

In the intermediate girls, ACS clocked a time of 52.15 seconds, while Sila Central finished with silver and Muaniweni College settling with bronze.

In the intermediate boys, Lelean finished first, ahead of Sila Central, who finished second, while Nakasi High finished third.

In the senior girls, ACS claimed gold, Bhawani Dayal Arya College won silver, while Sila Central won bronze.

In the senior boys, Nakasi High finished with a time of 45.34 seconds, followed by Lelean in second place with a time of 45.58 seconds, while Wainimala Secondary School claimed bronze with a time of 46.40 seconds.
