99 candidates have so far been approved for the 2022 General Elections.
Following the verification exercise, Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem has approved 41 nominations submitted by the Fiji Labour Party whilst 3 nominations remain pending further verification.
On the same note Saneem has also approved 51 nominations from the National Federation Party whilst 4 nominations remain to be further verified.
The nomination by independent candidate Ravinesh Reddy has also been approved following the verification exercise.
The nomination period ends at midday tomorrow.
Majority of the registered voters will vote on December 14th while pre-polling for selected areas will be held from December 5th to 9th.
