A 9-year-old girl's dream of meeting her role model came true when she met New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern during her visit at the University of the South Pacific Laucala Campus.

Latoya Asora-Tonuia wrote a letter for Ardern and hand delivered it with the help of her mother as the New Zealand Prime Minister made her way to her vehicle after speaking at USP.

Ardern hugged the 9 year old during their encounter and then signed her beautiful and inspiring letter.

Asora-Tonuia says she will tell all her friends that she met Jacinda Ardern.
