The tournament was officially launched today and 72 teams are confirmed to participate.

48 teams will face off in the men’s division, 16 teams are in the U-21 division and 8 teams are in the women’s division.

Tournament Media and Marketing Coordinator James Vunituraga says the purpose of this tournament is for the Tabadamu team to build a gym for themselves.

He says $6,000 is the prize money for the Men’s cup winner, $1,000 for the women’s division and $1,800 for the U-21 division.

Some top teams that have confirmed their places are Police Blue, Wardens Gold, Army Green, Tabadamu and the Fiji Barbarians.
