70 year old Douglas John Mckenzie, a foreign national who is charged with sexual offences involving two boys aged 13 and 14 years in Sigatoka, has been further remanded due to other similar reports.
Mckenzie is charged with one count of sexual assault and two counts of indecently insulting or annoying a person.
Police say Mckenzie’s case was called again in the Sigatoka Magistrates Court, where the court further remanded him into Police custody as investigations into other similar reports are underway.
A joint team from the CID Headquarters and CID Sigatoka are conducting visitations in the Sigatoka area, investigating other similar reports.
Investigators are also urging anyone with information to call Crimestoppers on 919.
