An early dividend payout of $6 million will be given to Fiji Pine Limited landowners to support them during this time of struggle.

Fiji Pine Group of Companies Chairman Ratu Wiliame Katonivere says the Board and Management team have held a meeting and decided to declare an early dividend payout to their landowners.

He says the Pine Industry is also suffering due to the impacts of COVID-19.

Ratu Wiliame says they understand that people need money for their daily livelihood to support them which is why they have agreed to this.

The first payment of $2 million will be given out this Thursday, the second payment of $2 million is on the 19th of August and the final $2 million payout will be on the 18th of November.
