59 year old man dies from burns during a house fire along Ross Street in Nausori

A 59-year-old man has passed away from burns allegedly sustained during a house fire along Ross Street in Nausori.

Police say the man was staying alone in the home.

Police and National Fire Authority officials says they responded to the call for assistance and found the victim.

He was then rushed to the Nausori Health Centre and was pronounced dead.

Investigations continue to ascertain the cause of fire.
