52 families living at Vakatora Housing in Lautoka were full of smiles after receiving their household packs from the government yesterday.
The government says that around 219 people are residing at this housing complex that is part of the Lautoka containment zone.
The household packs are part of the government’s distribution initiative where they delivered 505 household packs yesterday to families in home isolation and lockdown areas in Lami, Suva, Nasinu, Nausori and Lautoka.
404 household packs were delivered to families in home isolation in areas in Lami, Suva, Nasinu and Nausori and 49 packs areas in Lautoka areas.
So far, the government has distributed 4,088 packs to families in home isolation in areas in Lami, Suva, Nasinu and Nausori and 396 packs in areas in Lautoka.
