50 inmates from the Correction facilities around the country attended the Yellow Ribbon Employment Expo held at the FMF Gymnasium.

This Expo gave opportunity to the inmates to showcase their talents and secure future employment.

Minister for Defence and National Security, Inia Seruiratu says he truly believes the event is of interest because of his Ministry's vision for a safe, secure and prosperous Fiji for all.

Seruiratu says inmates who are released are not only fully rehabilitated, but can find work under this programme and will be reintegrated back into their community and contribute to nation-building.

The Minister thanked the companies who have been part of the process.

Companies like Water Authority of Fiji, Raiwaqa Bakery, Tents and Awnings Limited, Flow Valves Fiji Limited, CR Engineering, Elia's Engineering, SNP Fiji Limited, Quality Print Limited, 8 Mountains Fiji, Starest Furniture, Tanoa Groups of Hotels, Qeramailagi Farm, National Hire, Integrated Welding Limited, South Pacific Commission, China Railway and R.B.Patel Group of Companies have provided work to the participants for the program in the last four years.
