484,629 Fijians have received the first dose while 144,190 people are now fully vaccinated

484,629 adults in Fiji have received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 144,190 people have received their second dose.

This means that 82.6 percent of the target population have received at least one dose and 24.6 percent are now fully vaccinated.

According to the Ministry of Health vaccination dashboard, 220,588 people in the Central Division have received their first dose while 60,875 people have been fully vaccinated.

In the Western Division, 191,345 people have received their first dose while 72,491 people have been fully vaccinated.

9,361 people have been fully vaccinated in the North while 1,467 people have received both jabs in the Eastern Division.

Fiji’s target population for vaccination is 586,651 adults.
