401 employees of Fiji Ports Terminal Limited get rewarded with performance pay

Fiji Ports Terminal Limited Board Chair Hasmukh Patel with the FPTL team

401 permanent employees, registered workers and day contractors of Fiji Ports Terminal Limited will share a performance payout of $408,000 that will be paid out this week.

Fiji Ports Terminal Limited Board Chair Hasmukh Patel says the performance pay is for 2020.

Patel says they are also proud to say that they did not reduce the pay or hours of any workers.

He adds as a result of COVID-19, their business was affected by about 15 to 20%.
