Thirty-nine police officers have undergone an extensive reintegration program at the Police Mobile Force, and these are the officers who were previously seconded to the Counter Narcotics Bureau.
Speaking at a press conference at the Police Headquarters, Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu says the program included counselling and briefings by various unit heads.
Tudravu says they were seconded as police officers and return as police officers and have taken up their new postings as of last week.
He also highlighted that he is not in a position to talk about the decisions made by the past leadership, and he would like to reaffirm their collective commitment to restoring public trust in policing.
