The 35-year-old farmer of Dreketi Village in Qamea, who was earlier reported missing in waters between Laucala Island and Taveuni, has been found.
Police have called off the search after his body was found earlier today by a 34-year-old diver of Matangi Private Island Resort.
Police say the victim's body was uplifted and taken to the Taveuni Hospital, awaiting a post-mortem examination.
They are thanking members of the community and business operators for assisting with search and recovery efforts.
