32 arrests for breach of curfew were recorded from 11pm last night to 4am this morning.

22 people were arrested in the Southern Division.

Acting Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu says five of the arrests made in the Southern Division involved men who were driving around during curfew hours without any valid reasons while seven arrests involved men who were drunk during the time of their arrest.

Tudravu says the remaining people who were arrested were those found in public places without valid reasons.

Tudravu says the Western Division recorded six reports, Northern Division recorded two while the Eastern and Central Divisions both recorded one case each.

He says the two cases in the Northern Division involved two men who were drunk in public whereas four of the six arrests recorded in the Western Division involved men who were drunk in public.
