$30,000 worth of sporting equipment and apparel has been donated by Ranjit Garments Mfg Pte Limited to the National Fire Authority to boost their men's and women's rugby teams.

NFA CEO Puamau Sowane says the sporting equipment will assist the players in their training sessions and he is sure that it will boost their players to bring out the best in them.

The CEO says he is proud of their teams and applauds their firefighters, Vinaya Habosi and Onisi Ratave who are both playing for the Fijian Drua and Tira Wilagi Patterson and Vuiviawa Naduvalo in our national 7s team.

Sowane says they are confident that the initiative will enable NFA to produce future rugby legends in their future rugby teams.

Meanwhile, Ranjit Garments Director Sachin Solanki says it's very heartening to see four firefighters join the Fiji 7s Rugby team and the Fijian Drua 15’s Rugby team.

Solanki says they have come a long way in building their partnership with NFA and will continue this journey into the future.
