A total of 244 houses were destroyed while 203 houses were partially damaged in the Eastern Division due to severe Tropical Cyclone Harold.

The National Disaster Management Office says 94 houses were destroyed in the Central Division while 242 houses were partially damaged.

NDMO says the initial damage assessment in the Western Division is still being carried out while the assessment in the Northern Division has just been completed.

Meanwhile, a total of 155 evacuation centres are still active around the country with 1,991 people staying in the centres.

NDMO says the Western Division has 36 evacuation centres and is accommodating 983 evacuees, the Central Division has 26 evacuation centres and is accommodating 636 evacuees, the Eastern Division has 93 evacuation centres and is accommodating 372 evacuees.

All evacuation centres in the Northern Division are closed and all evacuees have returned to their homes.
