233 in Eastern Division evacuation centres

In the Eastern Division people are already moving into evacuation centers with 233 people in total now being accommodated.

This is according to Commissioner Eastern Lieutenant Colonel Netani Rika.

The highest number at the centre is made up of those in Koro Island.

Kadavu he said is being monitored online as all mobile and landline communications have been cut off to the island.
