Two students involved in the tragic bus accident earlier this week at Ajodhya Prasad Street in Banaras, Lautoka are still admitted in hospital.

Police say one is admitted at the CWM Hospital while another is at the Lautoka Hospital.

They say the driver will be questioned on Monday while the cause of the accident is yet to be determined.

78 students of Delana Primary School and an adult were on the bus.

Minister for Transport Ro Filipe Tuisawau has directed teams at the Land Transport Authority to conduct a thorough investigation in collaboration with relevant authorities, including a review of its licensing framework and the continuous monitoring of safety standards to be upheld by Public service providers while on the road.
