Two men aged 30 and 28 years, who were missing at sea, have been rescued by villagers of Dravuni in Kadavu this morning.

Dravuni Village Headman, Joji Kovelali says they were cleaning the village earlier today when the 28-year-old man came to shore.

Kovelali says the man informed them of his encounter, and a village search team was sent to search for the other man.

He says the village team found the 30-year-old man on another island.

Kovelali adds the two men left Suva on Thursday to fish and their boat capsized between Beqa and Kadavu.

He further says they had been swimming at sea for four days.

Kovelali says their families have been contacted.

He says the fishermen are recovering in the village, while they arrange for their return to Suva.
