2 men who allegedly broke into the Speaker's house to take their plea next month

The two men who allegedly broke into the Speaker of Parliament and former President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau's house will take their plea on the 17th of December.

36-year-old farmer, Ratu Jone Latianara and 34-year-old baker, Semi Vakarau are charged with one count of theft and one count of aggravated burglary.

The two allegedly broke into the Speaker's home in Lomanikoro on Bau Island on the 5th of November.

They allegedly stole $6750 worth of mats, masi, gas stoves and cooking utensils.

High Court Judge, Justice Thushara Rajasinghe has further remanded Ratu Jone and Vakarau.
