2 cops to face trial next year for aggravated robbery charge

The two weeks trial of two Police officers who are charged with aggravated robbery will begin on the 12th of July next year.

It is alleged that Karim Begg and Roneel Ravinesh Chand on 24th March in the Sigatoka Valley stole $500 cash from a Chinese national and before stealing the money, threatened to use force on the victim.

Their bail has been extended and the case has been adjourned to the 12th of April.
