Ticket prices for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua and Highlanders clash in Suva next week have been made more affordable following the introduction of two new tiers of tickets.

Drua CEO Brian Thorburn says the Waitui Zone, which is the grass embankment towards the Nasese seawall side will sell for $20 for adults and $10 for kids under the age of 12.

Thorburn says the concrete embankment has been split into lower and upper levels where the lower level seating will be known as the Matasawa Zone.

Tickets for the Matasawa Zone will be $40 for adults and $20 for children under the age of 12.

The higher level seating on the concrete embankment remain categorized as Silver and will cost $75 flat.

Thorburn says the new categories will be available for sale from this Friday from the Fiji Sports Council Suva Office, Post Fiji outlets and a number of Jack’s of Fiji outlets on Viti Levu.

He has also confirmed that people who have already bought their tickets can return and get a new one from the Fiji Sports Council Suva Office.

He says it has always been their desire to allow fans to watch the players take on the best in the world right here in Fiji.

Thorburn says they have listened and now responded to the feedback regarding ticket pricing with a new cheaper category.

The Drua will take on the Highlanders at the ANZ Stadium at 4.35pm next Saturday.

This week, the Drua will play the Blues at 7.05pm Saturday in the Super Round in Melbourne.
