The first-ever official website for the Office of the President has been launched and this will offer all Fijians both in Fiji and abroad the ability to apply for vacant positions through the vacancy portal.

While officiating at the launch, President Jioji Konrote says the launch of this website shows the overall commitment in attaining service excellence and efficient service delivery to all Fijians and in some cases our international friends and clients.

Konrote says since taking up office in 2015, he has laid out a plan to try and improve the status and image of this prestigious institution.

He adds they have accomplished several projects which includes the major renovation of the State House, the official changing of its name from Government House to State House in 2017, and a new re-landscaped look to the State House compounds.

The President says the website offers a unique and ideal opportunity for people to learn and appreciate the work and achievements of past Governor-Generals and Presidents and the invaluable contribution of present and past staff members.
